Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

Recognizing and implementing sound equal employment opportunity (EEO) policies and procedures can help in the retention of the best employees which can maximize an employer’s return on the costs spent on human capital. Additionally, an EEO program can prevent liabilities and litigation associated with alleged unlawful employment practices, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation; improve the workplace atmosphere and allow employees an opportunity to maximize their full potential by removing attitudinal and systemic barriers; help work teams take advantage of a diverse set of skills and abilities available in the workforce that translates into a higher quality of productivity and creativity; and contribute to a positive public image and increase credibility in the community.
