Ethics for the Workplace

A strong ethics program can protect the employer’s reputation and enhance profits. The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 imposes new responsibilities on organizations and at the same time encourages employees to report possible illegal accounting and financial reporting activity through the use of anonymous hotlines and anti-retaliation measures. Just because an employer’s policies and procedures meet legal standards does not always mean that the employer has done everything they are expected to do. Legal compliance is essential, but it's not always enough.

This program explains ethics laws in easy-to-understand language. We integrate the employer’s Code of Conduct and any other applicable policies.

At the end of this training program, participants will better understand what is expected of them. We addresses ethics and compliance issues employees may face in any functional area of the organization. This includes several choices for training all employees on the company's basic code of ethics. Also available is training more appropriate for employees who need special training because certain jobs, i.e. those responsible for finance related issues, expose them to more ethical lapses.
