Transitioning Into a Supervisory Role

It is not unusual for highly productive and technically competent employees to be promoted to supervisory roles. Just because they have been a great employee does not ensure they will make a terrific supervisor. Many require additional skills to successfully transition to the role of supervisor. This program helps employers who promote from within, provide learning opportunities for new supervisors to help ensure their success.

Participants will be better able to address honestly any feelings related to transitioning from peer to supervisor; gain strategies to make a smoother transition to the new role; and build upon and establish new agreements with individuals who were formally peers.
